Thank you so much for the thorough and thoughtful answer to this. I’ve been pursuing an answer to this question for at least five years without finding anything comprehensive and this was a perfect solution. I was admittedly nervous to ask it at the risk of being self-pitying or vapidly melancholic because I am so appreciative for my daughter and for getting to raise her. It seems like since Buddhist-adjacent wellbeing has gotten so mainstream I’ve received a lot of messaging that the only way to go deeper is to pay for it; I.e. buy the latest meditation app, go on retreat etc. Thank you for the reminder that practice costs nothing and it is always available. I am so grateful I have found this Substack and I appreciate the amazing work you’re doing here.

Thank you CMoon for the reminder. It is easy to get caught up in daily business with kids and to forget that everytime and everywhere is the right situation for the way.
